This 40-minute Gentle Yoga for Awareness class is an accessible, slow-paced practice designed to help you build strength, deepen your asana practice, and cultivate greater body awareness. Suitable for beginners as well as those with a regular yoga practice, this class focuses on moving slowly and mindfully — allowing you to get more out of each posture and notice subtle sensations in the body.
Through gentle breathwork and conscious movement, the practice supports nervous system down-regulation, helping you stay focused, grounded, and present. While the pace is slow and accessible, the class can also feel surprisingly challenging as you explore stability, control, and mindful engagement.
This session is ideal if you’re looking to:
Build strength safely and gradually
Deepen awareness within familiar postures
Support relaxation and nervous system regulation
Develop a more mindful, embodied yoga practice
Props suggested: bolster or pillows, a blanket, and two yoga blocks (or suitable alternatives).
Perfect for when you want to slow down, tune in, and practice with intention.
