When you first learn about your pregnancy, one of your immediate concerns might be how to stay physically active in a safe, helpful, and accessible way. Yoga is often recommended for these reasons, but there are many different types of yoga, so where do you begin? I highly recommend a specialized prenatal yoga class with a trained and experienced teacher.

Here are some reasons why:

  • Learn breathing techniques and pranayama to support and ease physiological, anatomical and emotional changes. 
  • Dedicated time to focus on the experience of pregnancy. 
  • Find empowerment, confidence and access to inner strength for the journey ahead.

  • Learn how to safely move to prevent injury and gain strength, stability and flexibility.
