Root & Renew Spring Retreat – Yoga & Renewal in Calgary

We are thrilled to invite you to the Root & Renew Spring Retreat, a rejuvenating afternoon designed to help you find balance, awaken your energy, and embrace spring’s renewal.

Although yoga is part of our retreat, you don’t need any yoga experience to join—this retreat is for everyone. If your mind tends to race during yoga, you find it hard to slow down, or you think you're not flexible enough, that's completely okay. You are welcome as you are, and this experience might just shift your perspective on what it means to be “good” at yoga.

What to Expect

This retreat includes two all-level yoga practices, engaging lessons, and mindful activities to connect with nature’s transformative power:

Yang Yoga & Breathwork – Awaken & Energize

  • An energizing yoga flow designed to activate your Root Chakra
  • Strength-building movements to awaken your inner fire
  • Breathwork practices to help you feel rooted yet invigorated

Seeds of Renewal – Manifest & Grow

  • Guided rituals and intention-setting practices
  • Manifestation lessons to help cultivate transformation
  • Insightful activities to inspire personal growth

Yin Yoga & Meditation – Restore & Replenish

  • A deeply nourishing Yin practice focused on relaxation
  • Meditation to balance the yang energy of the day
  • Gentle movement and breathwork to support the Root Chakra

Jenn Gardner: A resilient survivor and dedicated mom of two,  Jenn is passionate about living a life of purpose and healing. As a fitness instructor, she empowers others to tap into their physical strength while embracing the power of holistic wellness. Her journey of personal growth and spiritual exploration has made her a beacon of inspiration for those seeking balance and transformation. Beyond her fitness and healing work, she’s an avid traveller, finding joy and connection in exploring the world and its diverse cultures. With a deep belief in the body’s ability to heal and the spirit’s capacity to thrive, Jenn strives to make an impact in the lives of others, both near and far.

Sara Villamil: A yoga teacher with over 20 years of experience in teaching and studying yoga and meditation. Sara’s classes range from Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, and Restorative to Prenatal and Postnatal, both in person and on demand. Sara’s offerings are rooted in a love for movement and healing. She is committed to honouring yoga’s ancient roots, focusing on unity, compassion, and service. After her initial training in Calgary and further studies at YogaWorks in New York, she founded a Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga School. Sara is grateful for her ever-growing community. She continues to be inspired by her students and guided by the belief that yoga is a journey to recognizing the divine within ourselves and others.
